does anyone know why i cant play this game? i use window to download the game and i dont know which button am i supposed to click to play the game after its finished :''
after you extract the download, there should be an application that says "sunnyDayJackGame"! if you have windows defender on, it might stop you from opening it the first time - just press "More info" and it'll give you the option to run it anyway.
in the game itself, the play button will appear after a few seconds on the title screen! you can also press enter or spacebar to make it appear. i hope that helped <3!

admittedly i am not done with the demo, but i have to say it has definitely caught my interest nonetheless! but i do have a gripe with it, though unrelated to and story or ui problems, but i think theres waaaay to many "..."s
these pauses can be good, sometimes they let the mood of the situation really sink in, but they happen so often in this game its honestly kinda driving me insane.
they make conversations with characters feel really awkward, like they are uncomfortable and dont know what to say because of it, which is good for when they are. But the appear frequently in EVERY convo, and it ruins the pacing of it for me.
but thats pretty much my only complaint thus far besides not being able to go into an options menu, i think the story would benefit if it cut back on these pauses.
I think this game is very good! the voice actor for jack is super well done with this acting, the visuals are so fun and beautiful, the atmosphere of the game is spine chilling and heart thumping. my problems are:
1. the phone is so loud
2. some voice clips are cut abruptly
3. there is no options, menu, save, adjustment of audio, sound and voice or seeing old dialogue options
4. the music (I thought there was music in the sex scene because I can hear it faintly) is sometimes too loud and quiet
for now I think the game is doing great so far and I can't wait until its finished so we can all play it and enjoy our sunnytimefriends show (I forgot what his show is called sorry ;w;)
i've been following SDJ for the longest, and the expanded demo is soo so fun!! literally so crazy how different this version and the original demo are - hell, even the aspect ratio change spooked me the first time lol. and once again my little character has fallen right into jack's brightly colored, begloved hands... rest in pieces.
i also have a couple suggestions? - i think the dialogue box takes up a little too much real estate on the screen - some cgs are pretty obscured by the big motifs and such. maybe it could be scaled down and made longer? - multiple ppl have said this, but there's no options menu for sound and text speed, nor any way to save and load from the dialogue box! this makes replaying and trying new options a bit cumbersome. plus some of the sound effects (like the phone ringing in the beginning for example) are a bit too loud for me and i'd appreciate the ability to adjust it.
these might not be a priority just yet since its only a demo! i just wanted to give some QOL suggestions before development gets too intense. regardless, i'm so excited to play the full game !!!

Absolutely ADORED the beta so far! Played with my husband and we both loved it (we’re a M/F, cis-gendered couple). We even joined the Patreon because we had such a great time!
The only thing we both did not like was Ian’s voice. It sounds too nasally, especially for a design like that. The VA does great work delivering some of the more “obsessive” lines but for the regular speaking as a ML? Nope, did not enjoy; didn’t feel like it matched the character. That said, the VA is very talented! Just feels like a mismatch.
(How Ian interacted in one of the extras irked us but certainly gave some credence as to why he’s an EX…well, one of many reasons.)
Still, looking forward to how this comes together and can’t wait for more!

omg, i played the classic ver when it first came out and i am so happy the extended ver is here! I finally had a chance to play it today and it's even more amazing than the original
Also, I am IN LOVE with the UI design and how overly childish and cutesy it is in contrast with certain scenes. But it can still do creepy like during the opening and credits
And as much as I like Jack, I just love Shaun so much
(*SPOILER* and that one customer but man poor guy, I was hoping he had a bigger role, he was such a cutie and absolutely my type) but, I hope to see even more of Shaun soon!

it literally keeps on saying i have no space even tho there is NOTHING else (i deleted most games) its still saying the same thing over and over. Someone please help i wanna play this again. And yes i do have a windows computer
ive tried download it but it keeps opening (e internet explorer) and everytime I press open it would take me to the website and keep asking me to open it. (help??) Another problem is that it keeps saying its forbidden when I download it.
I FIGURED IT OUT FRIEND!!! You need to right click on the file and press “open” once you open the file you need to look for sunnydayjack.exe or something similar to that. Right click on it and press open, it shout ask to export files, and press yes to let it. Once you’ve done that, you reopen the file and look for sunnydayjack.exe again right click it, and it should open! Please let me know if you need any more help! Good luck! 💙
