I didn't mean to be annoying or anything, but this game has been on hold for so long and I wanted to know if it's going to be released soon because the demo is on Steam and I wanted to know if there will be a sequel.Like, if it's going to be released on Steam, I don't know, this game has been on hold for so long. the last time snaccpop studios talked abt this game was (I THINK) on a patreon post that was in December 2025 they have talked abt still doing work on the game but it is unbelievably slow. I honestly don't think it will ever be released and will most likely be forgotten. :/ I can just hope that I am wrong.

Guys I don't think the game is ever getting finished. The original creator quit the project due to mental health and just political stuff, yes they passed Snaccpop studios on to someone else but they haven't been updating or confirming anything. I unfortunately think we just have to let this game go

The wait for the complete game is frustrating at best, but here I am still waiting like Hachi the dog waiting for it's owner to come home--this isn't me complaining. I look forward to the day when this game is complete and available to play. Something's Wrong with Sunny Day Jack is full of potential both in story and characters that I just adore. It leaves room for explorations especially with romance routes and plot. It gives me so much to look forward to.
It's just sad we haven't heard any promising updates, and the game is still under construction and other things due to whispered rumors. It would do your company a world of good if you could at least make weekly updates about the game's production or even monthly updates at best, but also work on the game to keep your integrity intact. Because my biggest fear is having my hopes up only to find out that this game will never be finished in my lifetime. And that's a shame since I feel SWWSDJ would be the crowning jewel of your company. If the demo was worth the hype, imagine the game in completion.
I know I haven't dedicated much, but that's because I don't know where my money is going and I can only contribute so much. Not to mention our economy sucks so badly, my money has to go somewhere else that's more essential like food, bills, gas for my car, etc. I wish you the best and I'm still holding out on hope even if there's a high chance I'll be disappointed, but it won't be the first time.

It is somewhat worth it, but when I got it most images weren't uploaded or in the demo I downloaded, which was months ago, but I think the images that were missing are already available in the demo now.
In my opinion, no, absolutely not. The older demos were fine, but this one is both shorter and has fewer CGs. I'd just wait for the game to be finished.

No. on here I have seen projects that cost about the same price tag. and these are indie projects. there are times that dlс cost more than the game itself. this is my personal observation your opinion is YOUR opinion.
There are visual novels out there that cost 20 or that have DLCs that cost cost 15 with half of the content. These aren't people who produce games at a large scale. This is a niche market and they have staff to pay and production costs to meet. I know it can feel like a large cost relative to the several free visual novels that exist but those are often passion projects that aren't made to support people. Look at the art style and look at the fact they're hiring voice actors. The costs are already higher than most visual novels and by the nature of business, if you're paying, that's what you're paying for.
this is one of the cheapest visual novels out here broda. it takes time, art making, soundtracks and coding, even tho visual novels don't need the massive coding like 3d games, it still takes a huge amount of time and money to make (Since they use voices and all)
