Quite curious if they have ever thought of making the sfw ver to be free while nsfw to be paid one...i know a game that has that where the sfw ver is free but the nsfw one isn't because you have to pay for it so, i'm wondering what they think of this idea seeing as some adults aren't that comfortable with explicit nsfw (based on some YouTubers' reactions to Dachabo's "feed me" button) unless there's an option for that (which Snaccpop has planned for the final release).

There are visual novels out there that cost 20 or that have DLCs that cost cost 15 with half of the content. These aren't people who produce games at a large scale. This is a niche market and they have staff to pay and production costs to meet. I know it can feel like a large cost relative to the several free visual novels that exist but those are often passion projects that aren't made to support people. Look at the art style and look at the fact they're hiring voice actors. The costs are already higher than most visual novels and by the nature of business, if you're paying, that's what you're paying for.

I hope i can see the updates and the newest demo or something... I only tried it once last year or two, it was really good content. Even followed this youtuber.
I managed to play the old demo on Steam (which is still up!) and wow, you can really feel the effort that's going into this game, even just for a demo! I really love Jack as a character! He's super charming, silly, and my new comfort blorbo. The other characters are written nicely too! The writing is very good and well-paced, the demo didn't feel as long as it was, no parts felt boring or drawn out! The soundtrack is also very lovely and fitting. Super excited for this game to be finished, whenever that may be!
I feel like I'll be dead before this game comes to full completion. But I've waited longer for most things. I hope everything is going well and we'll get our full game of this. I feel this game has a lot of potential and I am here for it.

Dude, there are visual novels on itchi.io that cost $30 and sometimes as much as $50, so don't complain...
