wait so is this why i cant download the game? bc you removed Bo's voice? (or am i misunderstanding things)

very sad to hear the news! I hope the reception doesn’t discourage you from casting less “traditional” voice acting in the future. I loved Bo’s original voice, I thought the VA nailed it. 

Sad situation but in my eyes it was inevitable as good as Glass is her voice didn’t fit Bo like one might’ve wanted. Still sad to see her go and I wish her all the best. 

I'm sad that it's come to this, I genuinely liked the original Bo voice. I hope the old version of the game will still be available, at least on Patreon?

while i totally understand the decision to recast, i gotta give major props to glass shards. it's fucking hard to alter how others gender your voice, so i recognize the effort she put in.

i get people's hang-ups about her voice as this role, as she's (probably) not gone through male puberty, and for a male character that tends to raise flags for a lot of people. i'd initially been surprised at the way bo's voice sounded as well, but i'd kinda assumed that he was intended to be trans/voiced by a trans va, since he obviously wasn't intended to be a child. 

(it was a little weird to go to her twt and see "she/her" in her bio, since if that really was the intention, y'all could've just cast a trans va, but ultimately i thought she'd done quite well and wasn't all that mad at it)

can't wait to see where glass shards crops up next, and i'm excited to hear bo's new voice!

I hope things go well for the ex-voice actor.

I remember when I first heard Bo's voice I was a bit taken aback but I saw what you meant to do. Very valiant effort I must say. I was even converted from dislike to loving the VA's rendition of Bo. But as it goes, "sometimes it just doesn't work out." I wish luck for all you great people.
